Being present.
I listened to a podcast this week that was extremely insightful. As with all philosophical conversation, there are challenges and agreement with every step. I am going to Oklahoma next week to see my ill mother and my beautiful father and siblings. My heart is heavy. My heart is light. I am reaching out to poetry, more than I have at any other time, to help process the truth that we are all both living and dying at the same time.
This conversation with Marie Howe on the program On Being with Krista Tippett landed on my playlist at just this moment. If Living An Artful Life happens by example, I have had many. I am grateful. So very.
What poetry have you read in times like these?
