Nashville - On Friday, September 15 the artists of Untitled and the residents of Werthan Mills will co-host a spectacular one-night Art Show and Loft Tour from 6 pm to 10 pm. The Lofts are located at 1400 8th Avenue North.

Originally built in 1882 as part of a cotton mill, the Werthan building has been renovated, restored, and redefined as a pulsing center of urban Nashville living. The creative efforts of dozens of local artists will be displayed in a dramatic living space combining contemporary architectural design with the bohemian charm of exposed beams and the sculptural relics of heavy machinery. Loft residents will graciously open their homes for public tours, as well as tours of lofts currently available for sale.

You may view and purchase Nancy VanReece's "Woodland 37206" at this show!

The "Concrete" festivities will include music, food and drink provided free of charge by area businesses, airbrushed "human canvas" models, both male and female, wandering among the crowd, with the art itself as the main attraction. This exhibition will include a diverse range of media: painting, sculpture, photography, drawings, and mixed media. Untitled Artists' Group is a non-profit dedicated to uncensored art for unlimited audiences and has faithfully maintained that mission since 1991. Members include faculty and students from Watkins, MTSU, Belmont, and Vanderbilt; exhibiting artists from Zeitgeist, Dangenart, Plowhaus and other local galleries; and independent artists from Nashville and the Middle Tennessee region .
