What Others Are Saying

What others are saying:

After attending a Workshop presented by Nancy VanReece,  registrants had the following comments:

  • I can’t say enough about how fantastic this session was. We already are pretty involved with social media for both marketing and educational use (and were so happy to win the prize for the quick turnaround facebook response). But this session brought us so many new ideas that will be helpful to take us further – from approaches to working with others already tweeting (through the 9:1 ratio of retweets/posting others interesting ideas) to encouraging our visitors to tweet/facebook about an event just before turning the phone off prior to a program or a gallery experience. You gave ideas on gathering even more material (the flip camera in the galleries and getting ‘visitor in the gallery’ interviews is a fantastic idea), finding ways to gather ideas for existing programs and just generally strengthening our relationship with our followers and most importantly converting them into visitors/participants. – Many thanks to Nancy, Carpe Diem Management, Cool People Care and Tennessee Arts Commission for offering us this opportunity!

  • Good presentation.  Every bit of it helps us better understand the possibilities.  Thank you!
  • Very engaging speaker.
  • I’ve come to a better understanding of what platforms are out there and what they do. I understand better our organization needs. I can at least start the process of going Digital.  We need to start listening more to different platforms.  I know we need to move forward. Now I have some ideas as to where and how to move forward. The time-line is so much shorter to find out if we are doing things right.
  • I enjoyed the content and it helped ask some key questions as we move forward with making decisions about which technology to utilize ourselves
  • Very well organized material….. The webinar provided many usable (social media) strategies to consider

“… the (full) power of Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion’s new Social Media Strategy still remains to be seen, we feel that the advice from Nancy VanReece has been invaluable to our organization.  Without her initial assessment of our online presence, and her subsequent recommendations, we may have never realized our fullest online potential.  The grant provided by the Tennessee Arts Commission for a Social Media Strategy has been a Godsend to our organization.  Professional services are not easily afforded to non-profits, but we feel this grant has given much needed insight into an ever-changing world.  The knowledge gained by our professional social media strategist has opened up a whole new realm, lending much needed support to our online marketing efforts.  We are so appreciative to TAC for this opportunity and hope to continue seeking advice from Carpe Diem Management in the future.”  March 8, 2011 Charlene Baker,  Director of Marketing/Public Relations Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion
