This work was done as an expression for a National Coming Out Day project.

National Coming Out Day is celebrated every Oct. 11. The day was born out of the 1987 GLBT march on Washington , D.C., where hundreds of thousands of Americans rallied to support equal rights. I came out on October 11, 1998 just 5 days after the brutal beating of Matthew Shepard, he died on October 12, 1998.
